The ROKPA Horticultural Project is bringing Tibetans to Edinburgh and Germany to learn everything they need so that they can eventually return to Tibet to establish local projects to conserve endangered Tibetan medicinal plants. The students were educated in their Tibetan homeland at a ROKPA-funded orphans' school and at a college of traditional Tibetan medicine.
The European program will train a total of eight Tibetans over the coming years at the Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh, the Scottish Agricultural College and local English language schools, as well as at Schuemannhof, a Biodynamic farm in Northern Germany. We are constantly seeking sponsorship. Your personal contibution is hugely apprectiated!
