After nearly two years and seven cancellations due to inclement weather, James finally did the tandem jump at Strathallan Airfield on the 19th August.
James said it was very pleasant despite a couple of strong sensations of vertigo and a few expletives as he left the plane.

WHAT A PERFORMANCE !!
Audiences who saw the ROKPA Dance Group throughout the country, were deeply moved and entranced by their performance.
The show was performed by a talented troupe of 10 children and young people who were born into poverty and destitution in the Nepalese capital, Kathmandu. The show was based on the children's own stories which are bought to life on stage. "A lovely show: very moving but also full of fun," said Linda Sears.
All were discovered on the streets by a remarkable Swiss woman called Lea Wyler whose compassion led to the foundation of a charity called ROKPA - taken from the Tibetan wordfor help. Now the Vice-President of Rokpa, she is better known to the many children she has helped as Mummy Lea.
The little troupe flew home on July 2nd after performing in London, Wiltshire, Gloucestershire, and several theatres in South West Scotland, the |Borders and Newcastle. Everywhere they went they made new friends and met up with old, as some of the group had been on the previous tour in 2005.
In Wiltshire, Gloucestershire and South West Scotland they were hosted by local families and ROKPA is particularly grateful for their kindness and generosity, and also a big thank you to all those who helped make the tour a success. These talented children and young people proved that there's potential in everyone, even those not born with a silver spoon in their mouth.
Lea Wyler started the charity 30 years ago. It is now well established but Lea and her co-workers around Europe and in the UK are constantly on the search for sponsors to support the projects. Today about 55 destitute and abandoned children find shelter, education and a ready made family in the Rokpa Children's Home in Kathmandu.
Has it all been worthwhile? The smiles on the faces of the little Rokpa singers and dancers answered that question.
